Carpentry First Fix

The first fix stage of construction can begin as soon as the roof of the building is weathered in.  First fix carpentry includes all the primary framing work needed to get a structure to the point of putting plaster on the internal walls, including carpentrywork from erecting walls, floors and ceilings.

If you’ve opted for bespoke window frames, external doors or custom-made staircases, carpentry and joinery work will start to build these. It is also the time when you will finally see your designs take shape.

Carpentry Second Fix

Once the fix first foundations are complete, we can begin work on the second fix elements of your design. These are all the finishing touches, from doors to skirtings, kitchen and bathroom units, bannisters to flooring.

This stage primarily begins with the fitting of door and window linings, if this hasn’t been completed already during the first fix stage.

Depending on your preference, our expert team will then install your fittings (skirtings, windows and doors) ready for painting. Alternatively, you can opt to have the space painted before installation of these features.

We have a team of recommended tradesmen that can assist in the completion of your new build, from builders to decorators, electricians and plumbers.

Kitching Builds

We understand that for many, the kitchen is the heart of their home. They are used for not only cooking family meals, but recent designs trends have also included an open plan kitchen/diners. Creating a space where the family congregate to share meals, have friends over or do homework. Seamlessly flowing kitchen designs with matching dining room furniture is something that has become incredibly popular.
